State of Civil Society in Africa Report 2024
This report provides a comprehensive analysis of the state of civil society in Africa during 2024, examining the developments and challenges faced by civil society organizations in 25 African countries. The report aims to offer a clear perspective on the realities of the civil sector and its contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. This report is based on field data collected from 1,200 NGOs across the continent, as well as in-depth interviews with 150 community leaders and development experts. It also incorporates an analysis of government policies and their impact on the civil society environment.
